Most websites today are assembled: a theme, a page builder, a stack of plugins. Mine are written. I am Youssef Abjayou — web developer, designer and the person who built this site line by line. This post is a short introduction: what I do, how I work, and how to reach me.
What I do
I build websites for local businesses — and everything that goes with them:
- Complete websites — designed, coded and deployed end-to-end
- Logos — brand marks that work everywhere, from a storefront sign down to a favicon
- Videos — promo and social media videos, edited in-house, including AI-assisted production
- Menu designs — for restaurants, cafés and food businesses
- Google Maps listings — getting your business found on the map, with the right categories, photos and details
Why I build the full codebase myself
I work with HTML, PHP, React and Next.js, and I can jump into WordPress, Shopify and other platforms when a project calls for it. But my preference is always the same: write the full codebase myself and handle the deployment. Here is why that matters for you:
- Total customization — every pixel, query and animation is mine to change. No template ceiling, no locked layout.
- Clean upgrades — new features, pages and integrations slot in without fighting a theme or a plugin ecosystem.
- Speed and SEO — no plugin bloat; the code ships exactly as light as the project needs it to be.
- Real ownership — you get a site that can be moved, extended and improved for years, not one rented from a page builder.

From Tangier to Dortmund
I was born in September 2001 in Tangier, Morocco. At three years old my family migrated to Vitoria-Gasteiz, in Spain, and in 2018 I moved to Dortmund, Germany — where I live and work today. Growing up across three countries taught me to adapt fast, communicate across cultures, and look at every project from more than one angle. It is also why working with clients from different countries and backgrounds feels completely natural to me.
